Your pet's origin or final destination must be Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore or Vietnam. Transit alone does not qualify. As long as Indonesia is the origin or final destination, the other country can be anywhere.

What a Indonesia move usually involves

Moving to Indonesia

Arrivals are cleared by the Indonesian Quarantine Authority. We check the entry permit, the origin country's paperwork and the arrival airport before a date is set.

  • Entry approval from the quarantine authority before the flight.
  • Microchip, rabies vaccination and other vaccination records, checked against the destination's timing rules.
  • A veterinary health certificate issued close to departure and endorsed by the exporting country's authority.
  • Island rules: some provinces, such as Bali, set their own conditions for dogs and cats. We check the final island first.

Moving from Indonesia

Pets leaving Indonesia need an export health certificate from the quarantine authority and must meet the destination's import rules, which set most of the timeline.

  • Export health certificate and quarantine clearance before departure.
  • Some destinations ask for a rabies antibody (titer) test and a waiting period, which can add several months.
  • Import permit or licence at the destination, where the destination requires one.
  • Airline booking as cabin, checked baggage or cargo, depending on the airline, route and pet size.

What most often changes the plan

Indonesia is not rabies-free, so many destinations ask for extra testing. Start the conversation early if you are moving to Singapore, Japan, Australia or Europe.

Can I bring my dog or cat to Bali?

Bali applies its own conditions for dogs and cats, separate from the national rules. Tell us the origin country and your pet's records and we will check what is currently possible before you book anything.

How far ahead should I plan a move out of Indonesia?

It depends on the destination. Routes without extra testing can be planned in weeks; routes that need a rabies antibody test often need several months. Share your destination and target month and we will map the sequence.

Which routes do you cover?

We coordinate moves where the pet's origin or final destination is Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore or Vietnam. The other country can be anywhere, subject to route availability. A transit stop in one of these countries does not qualify on its own.

What do I need to send for a quote?

The origin and final destination, your target month, the pet's species, breed, age and weight, and any microchip and vaccination records you already have. That is enough for a first route check.
