Singapore has some of the most structured pet import rules in Asia. We review the route and your pet's records first, then coordinate the licence, veterinary sequence and flights for moves into or out of Singapore.
Your pet's origin or final destination must be Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore or Vietnam. Transit alone does not qualify. As long as Singapore is the origin or final destination, the other country can be anywhere.

What a Singapore move usually involves
This overview helps you prepare before you speak to a coordinator. The final checklist is built for your route, airline and pet.
Moving to Singapore
AVS applies different veterinary conditions according to the exporting country's rabies-risk schedule. Some routes need testing and waiting periods before travel.
AVS import licence, applied for before the flight.
Microchip, rabies vaccination and other vaccination records, checked against the destination's timing rules.
Rabies antibody test and waiting period for some origin countries.
Quarantine or home release, depending on the origin and the pet's eligibility.
Moving from Singapore
The AVS export licence is valid for 90 days. Health certificate validity is separate and depends on the certificate type and destination.
AVS export licence and destination health certificate.
Destination import permit, where required.
Airline booking as cabin, checked baggage or cargo, depending on the airline, route and pet size.
Coordinate airline handling and any inspection required by the destination.
What most often changes the plan
A single preparation estimate does not fit every country. Pets from higher-risk countries can need months of testing before they can fly to Singapore.
Send the origin, final destination, target month and your pet's profile. We confirm the route is in scope and map the Singapore requirements for your direction of travel.
Step 2
Document sequence
We order the microchip, vaccinations, any testing, health certificate and permits so everything is still valid on the flight date.
Step 3
Airline & flight
We check which airlines accept your pet on this route, as cabin, checked baggage or cargo, then lock the date.
Step 4
Arrival
Our partners coordinate the quarantine inspection, customs and handover at the destination.
It depends on the country your pet is coming from and whether it meets the AVS conditions. Pets from some countries go home on arrival; others need quarantine. We check your origin against the current AVS schedule.
How long is the AVS export licence valid?+
The export licence is valid for 90 days. The health certificate has its own validity, set by the destination, so both are timed around the flight.
Which routes do you cover?+
We coordinate moves where the pet's origin or final destination is Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore or Vietnam. The other country can be anywhere, subject to route availability. A transit stop in one of these countries does not qualify on its own.
What do I need to send for a quote?+
The origin and final destination, your target month, the pet's species, breed, age and weight, and any microchip and vaccination records you already have. That is enough for a first route check.
Tell us about your pet’s move
Share your route, pet details and target date. We’ll check travel options and the information needed to prepare a quote.
